Explore the Okavango Delta and the Kwando river system in Botswana, the Caprivi Strip in Nambia and Livingstone in Western Zambia on this 5 Rivers Safari.

Day 1 Maun to Okavango Delta
On arrival in Maun International Airport you will be met by a Kwando/Moremi Air representative who will introduce you to your pilot and show you onto your light aircraft for a departure out of Maun (flight time 30 minutes). Your first stop will be at Kwara Camp, deep in the clear permanent waters of the Okavango Delta. Spend 2 nights at Kwara Camp.


Day 2 Okavango Delta
Time at Kwara will reveal why the Delta, with all its remarkable plant, bird and animal life, is unique in the world.  The water experience, either fishing, on a mekoro or exploring the channels and rivers by boat, is spectacular.  Kwara also offers game drives both off road and at night in our own private traverse area. 


Day 3 Okavango Delta to Kwando Concession
Today fly north to Lebala Camp, hidden in the southern portion of the extensive Kwando wilderness and adjacent to the headwaters of the Linyanti marshes that form the boundary between Botswana and Namibia. Spend 2 nights at Lebala Camp


Day 4 Kwando Concession
Consisting of 23,200 hectares the area is a labyrinth of waterways, reed beds, islands and floodplains, bush, scrub and trees. Excellent general game abounds the broad plains creating spectacular scenery, adorned with herds of plains game and the ever-attendant predators. The Kwando concession is home to more elephant than the entire country of South Africa.


Day 5 Kwando Concession to Caprivi Strip
In the morning you will be transferred by light aircraft to Kasane where you will clear customs and immigration. You will then transfer by road to Impalila Island Lodge. This unique island is situated at the meeting place of two mighty African rivers, the Chobe and Zambezi and is the only place in the world where the four countries of Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana meet. It forms the northeastern tip of Namibia and lies just 70km west of Victoria Falls. Spend 2 nights at Impalila.


Day 6 Caprivi Strip
The surrounding area is an amazing mosaic of waterways, floodplains and bushveld: - host to exceptional birdlife, game viewing and assorted vegetation - and in the waters outstanding fishing opportunities. All activities are professionally guided and there are enough boats, vehicles and guides for guests to structure their own time activity experience.


Day 7 Caprivi Strip to Livingstone
After your morning activity and breakfast you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport where you will clear customs and immigration into Zambia and be met by a representative from Songwe Village. Spend 2 nights at Stanley's Safari Lodge.


Day 8 Livingstone
Stanley's Safari Lodge will be your base from which to explore this exciting destination and will enhance your experience of the Victoria Falls.  Your experience can be one of relaxation and peace, or adrenalin and excitement or even a bit of both. 


Day 9 Tour Ends
After a leisurely breakfast on the day of departure and after enjoying the magnificent view, you will be transferred to Livingstone airport.
