Day 1: Windhoek/Sossusvlei Enjoy the spectacular aerial views of the mountainous Khomas Hochland, Naukluft Mountain Range and the vast grass plains of the Namib Desert. Day 2: Sossusvlei Depart at sunrise to the stunning scenery of the Sossusvlei region where the richly coloured dunes soar magnificently overhead. Breakfast is back at Sossusvlei Lodge with the dunes as your backdrop.
Day 3: Sossusvlei/Etosha There is a morning departure to Mushara Lodge on the northern boundary of the Etosha National Park. Soak up the vistas of ever changing plant life and spectacular mountain ranges as you fly over central Namibia. 2 nights Mushara Lodge. (FB)
Day 4: Etosha Etosha National Park is one of Namibia’s greatest wildlife viewing areas and the perennial springs around the Etosha Pan are a magnet for game.
Day 5: Etosha/Chobe The aerial view enroute to Botswana takes in the lush vegetation of Namibia’s subtropical north, over the meandering Okavango River to Kasane in Botswana. Transfer to Chobe Game Lodge, the ‘grand dame’ of lodges, set majestically overlooking the Chobe River and the vast flood plains with its abundance of game and birdlife. Day 6: Chobe Rise for an early morning game drive through the Chobe National Park. There is time today to relax and absorb your surroundings plus an optional afternoon game viewing activity.
Day 7: Chobe/Livingstone Continue your onward journey to Zambia and ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ or ‘the smoke that thunders’, Victoria Falls. The border crossing is made by boat across the mighty Zambezi. Relax in the opulent atmosphere of a bygone era at the Royal Livingstone hotel, set on the banks of the Zambezi, with the thundering falls just a stone throw away.
