Days 1-2 Sun City
On arrival in Johannesburg you will be met by a CC Africa representative and assisted with the collection of your rental vehicle. Make the 2 hour drive to Sun City. Deep in the rugged bushveld, in the heart of an ancient volcano, this unique resort is unlike any other resort destination in the world, where pure fantasy and the African rhythm of life meet. 2 nights Palace of the Lost City (BB)


Days 3-4 Madikwe Game Reserve
Just 2 hours drive from Sun City plunges you deep into the heart of the richly diverse, malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve, one of South Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuaries. The varied geology and mix of habitats allows a wide range of native wildlife to flourish including the Big Five, cheetah and the elusive wild dog. The Safari Lodge overlooks the game filled plains and offers 16 spacious suites. 2 nights The Safari Lodge (All Inclusive).


Day 5 Johannesburg/Oudtshoorn
Return to Johannesburg for your flight
to George, on arrival collect your rental vehicle and make your way to Oudtshoorn. 2 nights De Opstal. (BB)


Day 6 Oudtshoorn
Oudtshoorn has plenty to entertain and occupy even the most demanding of children. Visit a working ostrich farm to learn more about these hardy birds, see Meerkat Magic and interact with the wild and unhandled Meerkats, then see the unspoilt natural labyrinths of the Cango Caves.


Days 7-8 Hermanus
From June to December, this is one of the best places in the world for land based whale watching and the wealth of activities on offer at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve incorporate this and much, much more. Grootbos also offers a dedicated, tailor made children’s programme to inspire, educate and exhilarate. 2 nights Garden Lodge. (FB)


Day 9 Cape Town
Leave the Garden Route behind and make the easy drive to Cape Town. Extend your stay or depart for home.
