Day 1: Enroute from Auckland stop at the Kauri Museum in Matakohe to gain an insight into the mighty kauri and its place in history. Overnight Waipoua Lodge.
Day 2: Take a guided walk through the Kauri forests of Waipoua, explore the sea, lakes and forests that are the backdrop to the rugged west coast. Overnight Waipoua Lodge.
Day 3: Head east today to the iconic scenery of the Bay of Islands. Explore historic Russell and take a guided tour of the Treaty Grounds before enjoying a truly magical cultural show with Culture North in the meeting house. Overnight Flagstaff Lodge.
