Day 1 – Buenos Aires
Arrive at Buenos Aires International Airport and be met for a 45 minute transfer to your hotel.
The sprawling metropolis that glitters in the afternoon rays reflected from the River Plate is today the largest city in South America. It is also a place where contradictions abound, where tradition thrives alongside innovation. Here, the tango lives, at weekends, the streets ring to a medley of different sounds. San Telmo, famous for its antique and knick-knack stalls; La Boca and the "Caminito" with is brightly painted walls where artists gather; Recoleta where hundreds of stands selling handicrafts fills its square; the gaucho market Mataderos where local groups perform songs form their native towns and the gauchos demonstrate their horsemanship skills. Buenos Aires is also a place for city tours for keen walkers, for art and culture lovers Buenos Aires boasts 57 museums and the famous historic Plaza de Mayo dominated by the salmon-coloured Government House (Casa Rosada) from whose balcony Eva Perón addressed the masses.
Day 2 – Buenos Aires
After breakfast at your hotel embark on a City Tour, a fascinating tour of the elegant turn-of-the-century districts that earned Buenos Aires the soubriquet of the Paris of South America. Highlights include the colourful Boca district, the Casa Rosada (Government House), the Nación Bank, the Cathedral and original Parliament House and the historically fascinating Recoleta Cemetery. You will discover the facts, stories and anecdotes that make up the colourful tapestry of the history of Buenos Aires. This evening meet your guide at the hotel lobby to head to Gala Tango. You will enjoy a typically Argentine first-class meal, before settling down for a tango show which includes some of the best-loved songs, music and dances performed by skilled musicians and dancers.
Day 3 – Buenos Aires
A day at leisure to explore this beautiful, cosmopolitan city for yourself. Why not wander the wide leafy avenues and eclectic boutique shops of Palermo Soho or simply relax in one of the sidewalk coffee shops and watch the world go by.
Day 4 – Buenos Aires - Iguazu
After breakfast, depart to the Domestic Airport for your flight to Iguazú. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel on the Argentine side of the falls.
Day 5 - Iguazu
After a buffet breakfast at Hotel enjoy a Full Day Exploring the Argentine Falls. Just over a kilometre of paths running along the basin of the Devil’s Gorge that take you by turns under small splashing waterfalls or hopping over rivulets into the heart of the cascades with walkways that are only a few metres from the edge of the main falls, to be enveloped in the clouds of fine spray rising up from the raging torrent.
Day 6 – Iguazu
After breakfast, transfer to the Brazilian side of the Iguazú National Park and walk along the edge of the river gorge. Enjoy the diversity of views of the falls to be discovered from the maze of walkways that take you even closer to the edge.
Day 7 – Iguazu – Buenos Aires
After breakfast, transfer from the hotel to Iguazú Airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires and home.
